LIMITED ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
When a student has either self-identified or has been identified as needing assistance with the English language by a counselor, faculty and/or staff member, the College has professional referral sources available through the Monroe County Learning Bank Network (MCLBN) 734-265-4200. In addition, the College has support services available by request within the Student Success Center. These services are funded through the Perkins Grant (Perkins Occupational Populations Support Services). Students with limited English proficiency may also be identified by the Accuplacer and/or TOEFL placement tests.
